Since founding his eponymous firm in 2012, Benjamin Vandiver has created interiors representing a vast range of aesthetics and tastes, all executed with a recognizable eye for enduring style, warmth, and liveability. Vandiver is an artist as adept at conjuring homes imbued with old-world romance - referencing traditional styles with a contemporary point of view - as he is in creating minimalist spaces with modernist characteristics.  He approaches each project through the personalities and tastes of his clients. Aiming to deeply understand the individuals who will live in the space, bringing curiosity about their lives and values, Vandiver’s work succeeds in representing particular tastes and lifestyles with an alluring mix of refinement and ease. The through line across his impressive portfolio is the livability of every interior that he designs. Richly layered, Vandiver’s work - from contemporary to classic - has an effortlessness and a sense of comfort that makes his environments feel as if they have evolved over the years. Most rewarding for Vandiver is when clients, on walking into their newly-designed homes for the first time, express a sense of familiarity - that it feels like home.

Known for building candid and deep relationships, Vandiver and his talented team are often called on by clients to complete multiple homes - from the city to the country, east to west, and everywhere in between. His humanistic and artistic approach has garnered Vandiver a reputation as a refined aesthete with the keen eye of a collector. Pulling from his personal collection built over years of travels to antique markets and auctions around the world, he punctuates his projects with unusual and captivating furniture and objet d'art. These unique and rarified elements result in spaces rich with specific personality and depth. Vandiver’s passion for executing a highly individualized form of beauty is evidenced in not only the result of each project, but also the loyalty and trust he develops with his clients. Since Architectural Digest’s first feature on Vandiver in 2015 as “one to watch,” his projects have been lauded across publications. In addition to features in Architectural Digest, he has been covered in Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Garden & Gun, Vogue, and Luxe.

Since its inception, Benjamin Vandiver Interiors + Lifestyle  has completed more than 80 projects, with more than 10 currently underway in New York, NY; the Hamptons; Dallas, and San Francisco.
